October 2026: runs with gates, Focus and a Claude plugin

October brought the largest change to how agents work in Crew: runs that stop at human gates before anything is released. Around it came seven languages, a redesigned Gantt, Focus and Notebook, dashboards and an MCP server, so Claude can work with Crew directly.

What shipped

  • v5.343.0 (AVFORGE-542): the Gantt timeline redesigned, with three densities, scales from week to year, one milestone lane, bars coloured by status and a Today button.
  • v5.344.0 to v5.347.0 (AVFORGE-545/546): a Live Meeting view for planning meetings, and an overview of all meeting series on one timeline.
  • v5.352.0 (AVFORGE-553): Notes and Habits becomes Focus (Today, Week, Review) and Notebook, with quick capture and notes linked to meetings.
  • v5.354.0 to v5.366.0 (AVFORGE-50): Crew in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and a Rumantsch beta, with Swiss date and number formats.
  • v5.374.0 to v5.378.0 (AVFORGE-585): a dashboard of widgets with presets for employees, project managers and admins.
  • v5.380.0 to v5.385.0 (AVFORGE-600): a SETUP agent prepares a code project on its own through the Developer API, with write-only secrets and a short-lived token per job.
  • v5.388.0 to v5.397.0 and v5.411.0 to v5.412.0 (AVFORGE-615): Crew Runs. Agent runs stop at gates where a person approves, with an autonomy dial per project, Team Studio and preview review. Behind a switch, piloted with one team.
  • v5.403.0 and v5.405.0 (AVFORGE-637/640): an MCP server at /mcp with OAuth sign-in, so Claude can read and update tasks, notes and time with the person's own permissions.
