July was shorter, with releases until 17 July. Crew got a Slack app and a timeline that shows all projects on one Gantt. Deployments by agents are now verified and rolled back when the health check fails.

What shipped

  • v5.197.0: Tempo and Crew worklogs can be compared and repaired per project, person or task.
  • v5.198.0 to v5.200.0 (AVFORGE-265): a Slack app. Crew links unfold into task cards, and /crew commands show or create tasks.
  • v5.201.0 (AVFORGE-286): on the kanban board, subtasks are grouped under an outline of their parent.
  • v5.203.0 to v5.207.0 (AVFORGE-284): /planning/timeline shows every project on one Gantt, with a year scale, filters by client and type, and milestones created in place.
  • v5.206.0 (AVFORGE-297): the OpenAPI description now covers the whole v1 API.
  • v5.209.0 and v5.210.0: a header badge shows how many agents are working, and agent deployments must pass a health check or are rolled back.
  • v5.214.0 (AVFORGE-336): projects can be archived; only an empty project can be deleted.
  • v5.217.0 (AVFORGE-272): timesheet reports as PDF under /reports.

Features

Jira sync, API and MCP

Jira projects can be imported once or kept in two-way sync, so a team can move over step by step. A documented v1 API and an MCP server let tools and Claude work with Crew.

Crew as a Jira alternative

Planning and timeline

A Gantt timeline across all projects with milestones, dependencies and scales from week to year. Planning meetings have a live view and a resource planner.
