June 2026: deployments, a feedback widget and Teams

June was about getting work out of Crew and feedback back in. Agents learned to check whether a project is ready to deploy and to provision servers, with production access limited to named people. Clients can report bugs from their own website and use the portal inside Microsoft Teams.

What shipped

  • v5.93.0 and v5.120.0: priorities and comment edits now sync with Jira in both directions.
  • v5.94.0 (AVFORGE-104): moving a task to another project gives it a new key and keeps the old one as an alias.
  • v5.101.0 to v5.119.0: server and deployment management. A provisioning wizard, a readiness check by the SCOUT agent, and a production deploy gate per project (AVFORGE-117).
  • v5.124.0 and v5.125.0: personal drafts for new tasks, and every employee can create their own API tokens.
  • v5.131.0 and v5.132.0 (AVFORGE-160): the client portal runs as a Microsoft Teams tab, with one-time code sign-in and Entra ID single sign-on.
  • v5.152.0 and v5.153.0: a team view of each employee's worklogs, and duplicate user accounts merged into one person with all their hours.
  • v5.164.0 (AVFORGE-197): an embeddable feedback widget. Visitors of a client website send a bug with an annotated screenshot, and it arrives as a task.
  • v5.188.0 and v5.189.0: tables in descriptions and comments round-trip with Jira, and changes reach Jira under the name of the person who made them.

Features

AI agents and run gates

Agent teams write code, test it, open pull requests and deploy in isolated containers. Crew Runs stop at gates where a person approves before anything is released.

Clients see their own projects, tasks, timeline and, if allowed, hours and costs. They create and comment on tasks in the browser or in Microsoft Teams.
